Why I created Camera Crew Australia

I started my production company more than 20 years ago to produce high-end corporate, documentary and training films in Melbourne. As the business grew, more production companies, agencies and broadcasters began asking us to film content on their behalf.

I understood the challenge immediately. We also hire contractors in other cities and countries, and I know how difficult it can be to judge people from a showreel, coordinate a shoot across time zones and trust someone else to represent your production.

Camera Crew Australia grew from those requests. It is not simply about finding somebody with a camera. It is about having a capable local person who understands the brief, takes responsibility for the Australian side of the shoot and puts together the right crew and support around it.
