The assignment

A Brisbane shoot handled locally for a London production company

Ivory Worldwide needed to film corporate content for Rio Tinto in Brisbane. The brief called for a strong camera team to capture a talking-head interview and the supporting scenes the editors would need to build the finished piece.

With the production company based in London, we took care of the Australian side: confirming the brief, arranging the crew and equipment, and making sure the team arrived ready to represent Ivory professionally.

That meant more than producing good pictures. The crew needed to work smoothly in a corporate environment, communicate clearly and give the overseas producers confidence that the shoot was being handled properly.

On location

Finding a distinctive setting inside the building

Before filming, we identified the building’s central atrium as a striking place for the interview. Its scale, greenery and curved seating gave the frame more depth and character than a standard office setup.

A three-person crew of lighting camera operator, sound recordist and director handled the filming, with an offsite producer taking care of logistics and communication between Brisbane and London.

The footage

Interview and b-roll ready for the London edit

Alongside the main interview, the crew captured polished workplace and location footage that gave Ivory’s editors the material they needed to complete the story.

The result

A successful Brisbane production, managed from London

Ivory Worldwide received the interview and supporting footage it needed, captured by a local team that understood both the creative brief and the importance of representing the production company well on the ground.

  • Professional corporate interview and supporting footage
  • Experienced Brisbane crew and locally sourced equipment
  • Clear communication with the London production team
  • A smooth experience for the client and everyone on location
