A key interview, produced from the other side of the world
The BBC needed to interview Kathy Etchingham for its Witness program. With the producers in London and Kathy at home in Melbourne, they asked us to organise and film the interview locally.
We agreed the requirements with the BBC team before the shoot, prepared the room and filmed the interview with broadcast-standard camera, lighting and sound equipment. We kept the London producers updated throughout.
Because we were filming in someone’s home, the job also called for discretion and care. The crew needed to make Kathy comfortable, work respectfully in the space and represent the BBC professionally.
